How Do You Get Super Saiyan Easy in Xenoverse

Unlocking the mighty Super Saiyan can be a rather time consuming process, but don't worry it's not as hard as it sounds.

Below is video that explains the process and more than one way to obtain the Super Saiyan Ability.

Step 1 - Be a Saiyan

The most obvious condition to meet, you must be a Saiyan. If you are of another Race, then you simply can not use the Skill.

You can of course unlock it, it just won't do you much good.

Step 2 - Unlock the Legendary Super Saiyan Quest

The next thing you need to do is unlock the Legendary Super Saiyan Parallel Quest. This is done by completing the Frieza Saga.

Once you have this Parallel Quest, you can highlight and you will see one of the rewards is the Super Saiyan skill, however there are specific conditions you will need to meet in order to obtain it.

Step 3 - Triggering Goku's Transformation

In order to obtain the skill, you need to trigger Goku's transformation, so lets go over the quest in order to do that.

First you will be fighting Piccolo and Kid Gohan. Eliminate them, and Vegeta will show up. Deal with him as well and then you will enter the final stage of battle.

Goku and Krillin will now enter the fight. Much like the original anime, you need to kill Krillin, as this will make Goku angry, and cause him to become a Super Saiyan...maybe. Once you have killed Krillin, Goku will give a brief speech during the fight and after, he might transform. It is random, so sometimes he will, sometimes he won't. If he doesn't, simply finish the battle and try again.

It should be noted that a similar process is needed to unlock Super Vegeta and Super Vegeta 2. These are another Super Saiyan transformation, and need to be unlocked the same way, through grinding Parallel Quests. With that said, people have reported much better luck obtaining Super Vegeta and Super Vegeta 2, which seems to indicate that it's slightly less random then obtaining Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2.

If he does go Super Saiyan, be prepared to kill him quickly. He gets very strong, as you would expect, and if he kills Frieza, you will lose the battle, which can be very frustrating as Frieza isn't terribly smart and tends to get hit by Kamehamehas. If you kill Goku while he is in Super Saiyan form, cross your fingers, as there is still a chance the skill won't drop as loot. Sadly, you will just need to do the quest again and again until you finally get it.

Step 4 - Forget the previous ones, just buy it!

The above process can be time consuming. Depending on your luck, it could takes ages before you finally get the skill. Thankfully there is a much, much easier way. The only thing you need to do is get further into the main story. Once you have finished the Cell Saga and Android Saga, you can go to the Skill Shop in town and simply buy it.

This is true of many skills in the game. Super Saiyan 2 is the same way, you can unlock it early via a rough Parallel Quest, or continue through the story and buy it in the Skill Shop.
