Turn in an consignment

You plow in your work online in Classroom. Depending on the type of assignment and attachments, you'll see Turn in or Mark as Done.

If you need to edit piece of work that you turned in, you can unsubmit the assignment before the due appointment, make your changes, and resubmit. However, any assignment turned in or marked done later on the due date is recorded as late.

Turn in an assignment

Y'all can:

  • Attach one or more files to your assignment.
  • Upload photos from a camera gyre.
  • Open and work on files you lot own in Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Drawings and and then attach them to your assignment.

Turn in an Assignment Using Google Classroom (Web)

  1. Click the classand then Classwork.
  2. Click the consignmentand then View consignment.
  3. To attach an detail:
    1. Under Your work, click Add together or create and thenselect Google Bulldoze"", LinkLink, or File"".
    2. Select the attachment or enter the URL for a link and click Add together.
  4. To attach a new document:
    1. Under Your piece of work, click Add or create and thenDocsDocs, Slides"", Sheets"", or DrawingsDrawing.
      A new file attaches to your work and opens.
    2. Click the file and enter your information.
  5. (Optional) To remove an attachment, next to the zipper'southward proper noun, click Remove "".
  6. (Optional) To add a individual comment to your teacher, nether Individual comments, enter your comment and click Postal service "".
  7. Click Turn Inand ostend.

    The condition of the consignment changes to Turned in.

    Important: If you lot get an error message when you click Plow in, let your teacher know.

Turn in a quiz consignment

  1. Click the classand then Classwork.
  2. Click the assignmentand then View consignment.
  3. Click the class and answer the questions.
  4. Click Submit.
    If the form is the just work for the assignment, the condition of the consignment changes to Turned in.
  5. If there'south more work to do for the assignment, click Open assignment.

Plough in an assignment with a doc assigned to you

If your teacher attached a document with your name in the title, it's your personal copy to review and edit. Every bit yous work, your teacher can review your progress before you lot click Turn in.

  1. Click the formand then Classwork.
  2. Click the assignmentand then View assignment.
  3. Click the image with your name to open the assigned file.
  4. Enter your piece of work.
  5. On the certificate or in Classroom, click Plow in and ostend.

The condition of the assignment changes to Turned in.

Important: If you become an error message when you click Turn in, let your instructor know.

Mark an assignment done

Important: Any assignment turned in or marked done after the due date is recorded as late, even if y'all previously submitted the piece of work earlier the due date.

  1. Click the formand then Classwork.
  2. Click the assignmentand then View assignment.
  3. (Optional) To add a private comment to your instructor, under Individual comments, enter your comment and click Postal service "".
  4. Click Mark every bit washed and confirm.

    The status of the consignment changes to Turned in.

Unsubmit an assignment

Want to make changes to an consignment that you already turned in? Just unsubmit the work, make the changes, and turn information technology in again.

Important: Any assignment turned in or marked done afterwards the due date is marked late, even if you lot previously submitted the work earlier the due date. If you lot unsubmit an assignment, exist sure to resubmit it before the due date.

  1. Click the gradeand then Classwork.
  2. Click the consignmentand then View assignment.
